In 1915 Albert Einstein's General Theory Of Relativity says that spacetime is a fabric. After 5 years, in the 1920s, Arthur Stanley Eddington confirmed this theory, and he eventually confirmed that there was the possibility of bending the spacetime and that this scientific possibility ended in fiction stories of space travelling by movie makers. Many TV programs and movies were made based on science, although fictional but they resemble close to scientific reality.
The Man Behind Warp Drive - Miguel Alcubierre
A Mexican theoretical physicist renowned for his groundbreaking work on faster-than-light travel. He is the mastermind behind the Alcubierre drive, a theoretical concept that involves warping spacetime to create a bubble that could transport a spacecraft at speeds more than light speed. His idea was captured from sci-fi movies and finding the possibilities of interstellar travel. Theoretically making interstellar travel possible by bending the space-time and traveling faster than light.
Theoretically, travelling 1000 times faster than light is possible, but achieving that technology, humans to withstand the speed physically, time travel paradox, and overcoming all objections to travel at that speed still remains impossible for today's technology and for the coming 10,000 years. But this theory someday will make actual travelling from galaxy to galaxy possible; a 10-light-year or 50-light-year distance will become possible at the time when technology has developed.
Alternative Other Than Traveling At Speed?
A Sci-Fi Dream is a concept that can travel through other dimensions. The concept remains firmly in the realm of science fiction and theoretical physics. In Hindu mythology talks about lokas and other dimensions and differences of time, for example, In Brahmaloka, time is perceived very differently than on Earth. 1 day (24 hours) in Brahma's time, known as a kalpa, = approx 4.32 billion solar years. This vast difference illustrates the concept of time in Hindu cosmology, where a single lifespan of 100 years in Kaliyuga is said to pass in just 0.001 seconds from the perspective of Brahmaloka. This mythology explains time dilations of different dimensions. While this is a fantasy of more than theoretically explainable by science, if it is somewhat true, this will allow evolutionary time travel.
